I only have one pet peeve. When people take longer than 3 days to respond to an email, it makes me annoyed. Then they continue to neglect to respond to my email even after three to four weeks. Sometimes they never respond to the email. I hate it for several reasons. One is that responding to an email over three days is unprofessional and rude. It can also be seen as disrespectful and it can cause ties to be severed.

Another Funny Story
This is story all about how America's governmental assistance has helped save the life of one particular American.
About six years ago, a young man needed heart surgery because of a heart problem. He needed another heart from a donor. This is a really expensive surgery that his family could not afford to pay. Therefore, they used Medicaid to help fund this surgery.
Now, this same young man with some else heart funded by Medicaid is against Medicaid. He wants Congress to cut Medicaid. What if he needs another open heart surgery and Medicaid is repealed? Then he would probably not be on this planet anymore.

Funny Story of the Day
When I was growing up in suburban America, I had several neighbors. Some of them had children who I could easily play with them. Others were singletons and lonely people without children. My immediate neighboring home had three to four people living in it. I would watch them day in and day out. They would sit in chairs on their balconies. They do nothing, but smoke and look out into the open. Hanging on the outside of the balcony for all to see was the Prisoner of War flag that symbolizes that they served as veterans of the Vietnam War. They would sit on their balconies all day and I would never see them leave for their jobs. They probably don't have jobs. They probably live on government assistance through veteran benefits. Before I moved, the kind neighbor gave me two photographs. One was a photograph of George Washington's Delaware River Crossing and the other was a Portrait of Former President Ronald Reagan. I see now.
They obviously support a political party known to cut programs that alleviate poverty. Yet these same supporters are taking money from those same programs. Their so called political party doesn't take the lives of Americans in combat boots seriously with two wars, which are still unfunded, and the first wartime tax cut in US History.
How ironic!

Here's another funny story
This kid who sits in front of me at a Junior States of America conference when I was in high school said something racist.
I was minding my own business.
This stupid kid says, "What's your nationality?"
Me: American
This stupid kid says, "But you know What's your nationality?"
Me: I'm an United States Citizen. I am an American.
This stupid kid says, "But what is...your nationality?"
Me: I'm a Citizen of the United States of America. I am American.
This stupid kid says, "oh".
By the look on his stupid little face, he obviously didn't get the answer he wanted. He probably assumed this guy looks Chinese , so he must be Chinese. It is true that my heritage is Chinese. He just didn't phrase the question in the right way. I wanted him to learn that lesson.
