About six years ago, a young man needed heart surgery because of a heart problem. He needed another heart from a donor. This is a really expensive surgery that his family could not afford to pay. Therefore, they used Medicaid to help fund this surgery.
Now, this same young man with some else heart funded by Medicaid is against Medicaid. He wants Congress to cut Medicaid. What if he needs another open heart surgery and Medicaid is repealed? Then he would probably not be on this planet anymore.
